Gottfried, Open Enrollment Specialists, Patient Advocates, and District 12 constituents to kick off the 2018 Open Enrollment Season beginning on November 1 and to highlight the importance of the Affordable Care Act for millions of Americans. New Yorkers who buy their insurance will have until January 31, 2018 to enroll in new plans athttps://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/individual.
“Despite the best efforts of the Trump Administration, the Affordable Care Act remains the law of the land and people can start enrolling in new insurance plans starting on November 1,” said Congresswoman Maloney. “Health care is a right, not a privilege. Right now, the best way to fight for that right is to spread the word about open enrollment so that everyone who needs care, gets care.”
The New York State open enrollment period starts on November 1, 2017 and ends on January 31, 2018. For coverage beginning on January 1, New Yorkers must complete enrollment by December 15. New Yorkers can compare and enroll in new plans at https://nystateofhealth.ny.gov/individual.
