WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-12-NY), House Ranking Member of the Joint Economic Committee in the new 113th Congress sworn in yesterday, issued the following statement on the news released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics that the economy created 155,000 private sector jobs in December:
