Dear Friend, I love being home here in NYC during District Work Periods because I get to spend time hearing directly from you about the issues you care about and what you want to see me working on when I return to Washington, DC. |
Dear Friend,
I always look forward to District Work Periods because they give me time to spend more than just a weekend back here in NY, which means I have more time to connect with each of you, the constituents of NY-12.
Dear Friend,
It was another busy week in Washington, DC and I wanted to share some highlights with you.
This week, as Vice Chair of the Joint Economic Committee, I released a report detailing the economic costs of gun violence and held a hearing with expert witnesses who spoke on what we need to do to end this epidemic.
Dear Friend,
From tackling local issues to fighting for all Americans at the federal level, I am committed to working #ForThePeople and this week I had the opportunity to meet and work with many of you in our fight to make our city and our country safer, cleaner, and more equitable for all.
Advocating to #EndGunViolence
Dear Friend,
As a nation, we are all still processing and grieving the tragic mass shootings that occurred over the weekend, as well as the latest of Trump’s cruel immigration policies. This week, I spent time with community leaders and spoke with many of you about what can be done in Washington to make our communities safer.
