Maloney lauds Appeals Court decision to reject delay in making emergency contraception available over-the-counter

WASHINGTON, DC – After today’s announcement from the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals that the Food and Drug Administration must immediately comply with U.S. District Court Judge Edward Korman’s court order to allow two-pill versions of emergency contraception to be sold over the counter, Rep. Carolyn Maloney [D-NY] issued the following statement:

Brooklyn, NY – A new report by Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney (D-NY) highlights new data on the bridge’s increasingly decaying conditions. She studied state conditions data, the number of flags the inspectors issued and the number of accidents and traffic delays, and in each case, Kosciuszko Bridge ranked at the bottom of the list.
