Reproductive Choice
Since the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Roe v. Wade, which ensures Constitutional protection of a woman’s decision whether to terminate her pregnancy, over 1,000 separate legislative proposals have been introduced affecting abortion policy. The vast majority of these proposals have sought to restrict the availability of abortions. This same trend can be seen in Congress. I strongly believe in preserving a woman’s right to choose which is why I am an outspoken supporter of women’s reproductive rights and have been monitoring the efforts of the anti-choice establishment to roll back a woman’s right to choose and have been actively working against them.
